¡Adiós Calavera!
Use the position of the other figures for your moves towards the light or the shade
On the central Zocalo, the living and the dead meet in a yearly get-together for a grand fiesta. The common dance will lead to the light or the shade and both parties are trying to get there first. The distance a figure may cover depends on the number of figures standing crosswise. And some figures have special abilities they can use for themselves of others.

1-100 Math Game
1-100 Math game
(You should know how to calculate)Rules:
Each player should have a pencil in his own color. Define a starting player. The active player rolls the dice and has to combine all 5 dice using the basic arithmetic methods (addition / subtraction / multiplication / division) to reach a number that has not been calculated by any other player before. He then can mark this number (e.g. circle, cross out, box ). The player can, but does not have to, use all types of calculations methods. He can e.g. use only addition or e.g. once addition, once subtraction and twice multiplication. He can use brackets to work with the dot-before-dash calculation. Only whole numbers are allowed in the calculation process.
End of game:
The players play alternately. The game ends as soon as the numbers in 3 rows or columns (or a combination thereof) are circled.
Valuation:
The rows and the columns then are evaluated one after the other:
- Whoever has the majority in a row receives 5 points
- Whoever has the majority in a row where the numbers are completely circled/marked receives 10 points
- If several players have circled the same amount of numbers, nobody gets points
The backside shows the game Knüller, which also can be played. See www.spielmaterial.de/wuerfelspiele

Agame not lame
In the card game Keine lahmen Agamen, the players collect “Agames” featuring different values. The players score when they manage to collect a row of agames cards with ascending values and – even better – in the same colors. During the game, already played cards can be taken from the opposing players to either reduce their score or improve one’s own collection.

Area 51
Part of Edition Bohrtürme (Game author’s competition of www.spielmaterial.de) / Crowdfunding-Project on kickstarter
Welcome to 1950s USA — the era of huge cars, rock ‘n’ roll, and alien activity! To prevent a mass panic, the President has ordered his generals to store all evidence of the existence of aliens.
In Area 51, a secret military base in the Nevada desert, players store all the futuristic weapons, unbelievable tools, and alien corpses in high-end storage facilities. However, this base is capable of hiding only certain artifacts and must be improved all the time. The generals try to outperform each other in building and upgrading the facilities and the infrastructure in addition to finding the optimal logistics for storing the artifacts to please the President.
In Area 51: Top Secret, players encounter several categories of artifacts — ships, weapons, tools, etc. — which are numbered 1-4 to show how dangerous they are (and therefore what security level is needed to store them).
Players must build storage facilities to store these artifacts. Artifact cards need to be collected, but the decisive element in the game is that once a player chooses to pick up a pile of artifact cards to place them into storage facilities, they need to store ALL cards possible, including those that will score points for the other players. The main strategy of the game is thus to use the existing storage facilities and transportation vehicles to optimize one’s own scoring.

AstroNuts

Atacama
Excitement in the Chilean desert. Valuable mineral resources have been found in this 1,200 km long desert along the Pacific Ocean coast: Gold, silver and copper. Several companies are already busy prospecting by erecting huge drilling rigs since the seams are deep under the surface. Due to security reasons the drilling rigs cannot be installed too close to each other, which is why each new rig limits the possibilities to erect new ones in the surrounding.
What’s more, the mining rights have been limited by the government. The companies have received a concession for only two of the three commodities – and extracting the “wrong” type of commodity will result in penalties.
Atacama, part of Mücke Spiele’s “Edition Bohrtürme” series of games, is a tactical game for 2 or 4 players.

Atacama

Chess Me
Schachen is a chess variant without a game board, which creates the fascination of a chess game in a compact way. Without long openings, the players enter directly into confrontation. The original rules of Chess are simplified/expanded by a few additional rules.
At the start of the game, each player has a king and four pawns. Cards for the remaining chess pieces form a deck from which the player draws three. The active player first moves a piece according to the original rules for chess, then (optionally) chooses one of the three cards in hand, places it next to an existing card, then draws a replacement card. Pawns must be placed beside another pawn, and all other figures must be placed behind a pawn. The aim of the game remains the same: Checkmate the opponent’s king!
Schachen is for players who like and know chess, but who think the original game is too complex and takes too long.

Christmas Penguins
December once again, the world is covered in snow. Just a few days from Christmas. Our beloved Santa has bought all that stuff on those millions of lists of wishes. The sledge is filled with numerous packages. The rendeers are waiting, but then a view through the window terrifies him : The penguins are stealing the presents from the sledge.
The aim of the game is to capture as many presents as possible, while Father Christmas, helped by a polar bear, tries to recapture the presents from the penguins. When Father Christmas reaches a penguin, the player whose penguin was reached takes the role of Father Christmas.
The winner is the penguin with the most presents at the end of the game. Because Father Christmas doesn’t keep the presents, the player who is Father Christmas cannot win the game.- family game

Councils & Contracts
The highest decision-making organ in a city is the City Council, which lays down the general operative and financial outlines for a city and decides on its main objectives. The true power, however, is a little further down the hierarchy in the different councils working under the City Council.
In the card-driven game Councils & Contracts, the players act as developers who try to push their own objectives — namely, receiving lucrative building contracts. Therefore, it’s important for them to gain influence in every one of the councils since doing so is crucial for deciding the assignment of building contracts. Naturally, all of the developers are keen to gain that influence…
Councils & Contracts is the winner of the third game author’s competition “Edition Kofferspiele” organized by Mücke Spiele/Spielmaterial. In that competition the limitation was that the game fits in 11 x 7,5 x 3 cm metal box. Similar to Hart an der Grenze smuggling boxes. It is easy and light to take with you and has a lot of game inside the box.

Dahschur

Dahschur
For the fulfilment of the Red Pyramid, Pharaoh Snofru orders the construction of an avenue and the filling of the grave chambers. In this complex strategy game, the players – acting as princes – use their limited influence to become the grand vizier. By clever usage of action cards and commodities, the players buy gems on the market, use them in the construction of the avenue, achieve beneficial positions for the filling of the grave chambers and use the tributes of the neighbouring settlements – all possibilities to score directly or at the end of the game. However, these tasks, asked by the pharaoh, cannot be solved alone! The dilemma: The player’s action potential depends on the cards chosen by the other players, which are pursuing their own goals…
To score at the end of the game, the players not only have to place their offerings in the procession, but will have to collect gold and silver as well in order to fill the grave chambers – preferably by hindering the other players from doing so. The player having collected the most recognition points will receive the title of the grand vizier in the end.
Special feature of the game: The game box is designed as a pyramid, revealing the burial chamber when opened.

Dreck Weg!
While strolling to school one day with friends, you suddenly notice all around you – on the roads and paths, in the shrubs, everywhere really – debris of all kinds, and not worthless debris either but cans and bottles with deposits on them. “Hey,” says one friend, “let’s see who can find and dispose of the most empties.”
In Dreck weg!, played on a variable game board, players roll dice to move and visit roads, trails, playgrounds and parks to collect as much litter as they can carry. Bottles can be exchanged for money at the supermarket, while trash can earn special action cards to be used with additional movement or rolls of the dice. Best of all is the Schadenfreude you’ll feel when you dispose of trash in another player’s garbage bag!
Players earn bonuses for every area cleaned, and in the end the balance of your savings accounts determines who wins.

Exposaurus

Ghawar
Ghawar, located in Saudi Arabia, is the world’s biggest oil field. Set to this background the players represent members of the royal family and try to locate good sites for new oil wells, find and deliver the different oil qualities and ship them to their base camps. However, the oil field is so huge that the players have to memorize where which oil quality is to be found. Moreover, the competing players are likely to interefere with the player’s intentions. To win the game, it is mandatory to collect oil qualities of different kinds, always keeping an eye on the ever changing prices. Balancing this will help !
As for the game play, Ghawar is a pick-up-and-deliver game with a roll-and-move mechanism on top of a memory element. On a 13×13 game board, 36 oil platforms are laid out in a 6×6 square with one empty space between each pair of platforms.
