Harald Mücke

Harald Mücke grew up in Mönchengladbach. He studied business administration at the Mönchengladbach University of Applied Sciences and works as a freelance management consultant in the hotel industry. He has been a game designer and publisher since 1999. His small publishing company Mücke Spiele is a.o. known for its authoring competitions, in which the participants have to invent new games based on predetermined materials. In the meantime over 20 games have been published by his publisher. Mücke Spiele is also a founding member of the game wholesaler Spiel direkt eG, an association of more than 70 small publishers, which also includes 2F-Spiele. In addition, Mücke runs the mail order company Spielmaterial.de, through which a wide variety of materials for game development can be obtained, but new developments such as the 3-part Pawn  are also sold.

Harald Mücke is a member of the Game Authors Guild (SAZ) and was its chairman from 2011 to 2013. He is also active as a fiction writer. Mücke is married, has a daughter and a son.
