The author’s basic idea was adopted largely unchanged. Given the initially empty back, a solution for a game plan for 5-6 players was developed. The animals that should appear in the game were discussed for a while. Logically speaking, only animals that left tracks in the sand could be chosen, i.e. no flying animals, etc. That’s where the generally known animals became scarce. The Kinkajpou, for example, didn’t make it.

Another focus was on the design, namely on the question of whether it was more realistic or more comic-style. Opinions differ on this…
