Tell us something about yourself!
I have been living and working in a community with adults with intellectual disabilities for 25 years now. In addition to board games, I am also interested in group games. I have already published various books on this subject. I also work in the experiential education sector. Here I also work primarily with people with disabilities.

How did you get into game development?
I got involved in game development when my daughter was hospitalized. While she was in the intensive care unit, I started thinking up games during the often long waiting times. As a result, two card games were published in the book “20 new card games” by Peter Neugebauer in December 1993.

How did the idea for the game come about?
I was of course inspired to develop the game “Ghawar” by the announcement of the competition. The basic idea for the game came to me during a walk.

Are there any new projects yet?
I still have a few game ideas in the drawer that are waiting for further development. There are no concrete projects at the moment.
